Our rainbow shibari rings are made from stainless steel, have a high polish steel finish applied, and then go through a titanium plasma bonding coat to apply a rainbow finish. This finish is different from a normal steel powder coat or an aluminum anodizing. The titanium coat bonds to the steel and will not rub off or wear away. Like any metal it can be chipped or scored with enough force, but it will not wear off from regular rope use.

NOTE: No two rainbow coatings will be identical. The two sides of the ring will be different colors. There will be 1-2 small line marks in one place on the ring where it was hang dried on a wire after the titanium plasma coat. This is not a defect and will not enlarge, spread, or reduce the integrity of the coating or ring.
These suspension rings have not been sent out for 3rd party independent laboratory testing. They do not have a an official certified weight/kN rating. Suspension is a high risk practice and should only be engaged in with someone who has experience, or under the direct supervision of an experienced individual.
That said, our rings are made of 1/2" solid stainless steel bar. Full specs below:
I am sorry to hear that your carabiners are causing marring on the finish. Our rings are made of stainless steel with a titanium plasma coat. Other steel products can definitely scratch steel and therefor will scratch the finish. We tested these with standard aluminum carabiners and rope and found the finish is solid against standard rubbing/abrasion, but can of course scratch with harder metals.

I LOVEMY FLOGGER
Jesse was amazing in helping me at the Dungeons and Geekdom convention to test out and understand the different types of hydes and how they felt. They helped me to figure out colors and customize the design and color combination I wanted.
Once I got the photo of the flogger, I didn't like the color combo because it looked different then what I thought it would be and they graciously helped me to change the colors and now I LOVE my flogger. I named her Thistle and she is beautiful!!

The ropes feel so good against my skin and make a veeeeeery satisfying noise when tightening. They left really nice marks when I was untied. The candle takes a little while to get and adequate amount melted but it was the perfect temperature. I dare say it could be a wee bit hotter. All in all, if your a beginner bunny or rigger, or even a vanilla minded person looking for a little spice. This will do you right.
Pouring from glass has appeal. Having these wax play candles arrive quickly without any signs of damage was awesome. Playing with UV wax in black light was fun — no real smoke.
