The flogger arrived within the advertised time. Immediately I could tell how high the quality was. I decided to hold off on posting a review until I tested it out properly.
I did. And it was magnificent! The balance is perfect, which allows for incredible control over the force of the strike. The bottom gave glowing reviews of the sensations provided.
All things considered, absolutely stellar!
The two color flogger from A.A. Is beautiful. The artist who made it is extremely talented. Sadly, the hide is disappointing. It feels light and looks like the tanned side is actually a thin layer adhered on.
During the wait for our order I took it upon myself to make my own. I ordered a whole side of full grain bull leather for a tiny fraction of the cost. I cut forty four 1/2 inch falls 24" long, rolled it up with some leather cement, and added a handle. Mine is way heavier, strikes harder with less effort, and feels like a flogger not a janitor's mop.
I wouldn't show mine off but it gets put to work. The beautiful one looks fantastic - on the shelf.

I am super sorry to hear about your negative experience with our flogger leather. I am glad to hear you had fun learning to build and making your own toy out of a different type of thicker bullhide. I am glad it more suits your weight needs!
I can confirm the large bison hide toy we shipped you weighed in at a little over 3lb for the whole toy, so it is definitely a weighty flogger, though not as heavy as our XL. Our 8-9oz (~3.5mm thick) topgrain moccasin bison is our heaviest leather that we generally stock except on special order. The hide is a top grain medium/soft temper hide with a large pebble grain texture on the topgrain. This should be exactly the same as shown in the photos on our site. None of our bison hide has glued on layers, they are single piece topgrain leather hides.
I ordered this flogger because my partner hasn’t had great experiences with impact in the past. I wanted something that would be heavy and “thudy” rather than “stingy”. This flogger is absolutely perfect! I expected it to be nice, but the craftsmanship, weight, and rich leather smell is simply amazing! My partner LOVES it and it I had instantly become our favorite toy! We ordered a second, lighter weight flogger as well. It is just as high quality as this one/. We will be adding more from Agreeable Agony to our collection very soon! I cannot recommend this company enough!
Beautiful piece and great quality
Intimidating! That's what I have to say! Holding a bullhide flogger of approximately 1.2kg is very intimidating. Originally ordered a large bison flogger, but Jesse was very helpfull and guided and built a large bullhide flogger instead.
One day after receiving it, it was tested out. And even though it seems frightening, it's still a very soft leather and you can throw it reasonably hard without getting overwhelmed in pain. However, when used with the tips only, you feel more of a sting than a thuddy sensation. It's still a soft leather and the sting is not overwhelming (½ inch wide falls).
I really don't understand why I did not just order a small bullhide flogger instead of the cow hide floggers that I started out with. It's very nice.
I ordered a large flogger, and I asked for the falls to be a bit shorter - around 18.5" long. I also asked for extra falls to compensate for the shorter falls. In total I got 55 falls of around a standard length flogger. I don't consider myself having small hands, but my fingers can't get a complete grip around the falls. It's huge. It's amazing, It's fantastic...
It can generate a pure thud, or more of a sting. It's really an amazing flogger.
